She was preceded in death by parents Charles and Thelma Head; sister Betty Head; brothers Ray Head, Norris "Bubba" Head and Joel Head.
Left to cherish Bontene's memory are her children; Chevette Head, LaShan Head (Damian Washington), Shanda Head, Elfonzo Head (Stephanie) and Elliott Head. Siblings and their spouses, Maggie Holden (Jerry), Teresa Head, Timothy Head (Charlene) and Stevie Head; ten grand-children; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, special friend Jessie Floyd and special friends.
