Apostle Warren W. Coger

June 9, 1953 — January 26, 2018

Apostle Warren Coger was a true and dedicated man of God
An integral part of Miracle Tabernacle Prayer and Cathedral, his first exposure to the ministry came as a result of his joining IDC (Interdenominational Choir) of Longview, Tx where he first met the Honorable Archbishop Lawson in 1977. He later became part of the crusade work S.W.A.T. a ministry organized by the Archbishop in the late 1980's. As the crusade evolved into Miracle Tabernacle House Of Prayer, Apostle Warren Coger continued on in the work, becoming one of the charter members of Miracle Tabernacle House of Prayer. He maintained an abiding love for the Archbishop, attributing his spiritual growth to the Man Of God, as he says " Archbishop Lawson taught me to be spiritually intimate with God...How to embrace the Spirit of God."

Apostle Warren Coger was ordained to the office of Apostle in 2001 under The Honorable Archbishop. He believed strongly in, and deeply embraced his call to the work of Apostle and served faithfully in that capacity.

Apostle Warren Coger was a studious and learned man with a passion for all things "sports". A virtual encyclopedia, he was " the information super highway". He knew every game, every player, that player's stats, the coaching staff, and any other piece of trivia associated with the game.

Apostle Warren Coger was a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he spent his youth and received his early education, later moving to the great state of Texas. Upon his coming, he furthered his education at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Tx. As a childcare provider, he touched the lives of many children for whom he opened his doors.

Left to remember and reflect upon his life are his brothers, Gary Coger and wife Lillian; and brother Kenneth Coger and his two children all of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Preceding him in death are his parents Wallace Elridge Coger and Juanita Georgia Brown Coger. Also preceding him in death is his sister Linda Coger.

Apostle Warren Coger's presence will be missed by all thoase who knew him.
