Mr. James E. Sanders

James Edward Sanders was born in Gary, Indiana on February 7, 1945, to the union of Reverend Wheeler R. and Lillie Sanders in Gary, Indiana.
God called James home on Sunday, January 27, 2019.

James attended school in Chicago Public School System and finished in Longview School District. James was an entrepreneur. He operated his own mobile detailing business among many other businesses he owned over the years.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father Rev. Wheeler R. Sanders and Mrs Lillie Sanders, a wife Barnett King, one brother: William Owens and three sisters: Geneva Clifton, Rev. Lillie M. Sanders, and Clara Edwards.

James leaves to cherish in his fond memory his longtime companion: Elaine Hicks and her daughter Ericka. Siblings: Mary Magdalene Wright ( Henry) of Chicago, Illinois; Bishop Benjamin Sanders (Beulah) of Gary, Indiana; Margaret Samples (Robert) of Kemp, Texas; Bishop Robert Sanders (Caroline) of Chicago, Illinois; and Nathaniel Sanders (Pat) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. His sons: Nathaniel Sanders (Ursula), Darryl Charles Sanders (Pam) of Longview, Texas; his daughters: Rikki Bohlsen, and Jamie Sanders. Grandchildren: Porsche, Gabrielle, Xavier, Brianna, Maya, Mayana, Mayela, Tavia, and Travis. Five great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
