Evelyn Willie Porter

Evelyn Willie Porter was born on March 25, 1953, to the parentage of Pattie Lee Smith and Carl McGinnis.

Evelyn attended Gladewater High School. Later, she worked at Cleveland Nursing Home in Longview, Tx, as a CNA until her health began to fail.

She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters: Ella Ruth Miller, Dorothy Woods, and Rosie Menefee; six brothers: James Gibbs,Clyde Hope, Willie, W.M., Freddie, and W.G. McGinnis

She leaves to cherish her memories sons; Frederick (Jessica) Willie of Longview, Tx; Joseph (LaSandra) Willie of Houston, Tx; Mason Woods, Nick Woods, Keith Porter, Steven Porter, and Andre Richardson all of Longview, Tx. daughters: Angela (Derrick) Shaw, Chanta( Shannon) Jackson, Andrea (Austin), Jessica (Ronnie) all of Longview, Tx; sisters: Minister Helen Neil of Gary, Tx; Apostle Dr. Cassonlia Williams of Garland, Tx; Annie Jones of Dallas,Tx and Ella Sublet of Gladewater, Tx; a special friend Adolphus "Tee" Brown,23 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren,10 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends to cherish her life on earth.
